I had to give a talk yesterday for ten minutes in Sacrament. Talks don't bother me at all anymore. I had my same flash card method with a couple of scriptures and I nailed it. I think. I also had to teach a lesson with my comp about the sabbath day immediately after which was also good. I had people tell me I did a good job so imagine it wasn't horrible. The language is really coming well. If you guys called right now I could speak quite a bit. I speak quite a bit, but my understanding still needs to improve. My comps birthday is today so our best mamita wanted to throw him a small party yesterday. I ate so much food, cake, rice, chicken, and jello. They love jello here. It was so good but I didn't know if I was going to hold it down. I did though, somehow. Friday I had the opportunity to eat a cheeseburger. It definitely didnt taste like America but it was great. It's so interesting here. I'm so confused because some people have houses that heaven knows how they stay up, and you walk in their excuse of a front door and see 45 inch lcd tv, a better sound system than many people in america have, and sometimes a better computer than most have in the us. It's the wierdest thing. They love there music here. They blast it out of those big speakers. It's like a concert all day long. The sound of their music isn't too bad though so I'm not opposed completely. So our chapel was broken into this last week, a lot of windows shattered and all, that was unfortunate. Today for breakfast we ate as a zone and had grilled cheese sandwiches which was divine. There was a day in the past when I dreaded that meal, now I cherish it haha. It's funny how things can change like that but I enjoy that aspect of a mission. Hey, a grilled cheese sandwich never tasted so good haha. Plus a bowl of cereal with bagged milk. Crap, the milk here comes in a bag haha. I don't buy it. The cereal is terrible though. I found that out today! Cold water to drink is a blessing too. All the water is warm and not very good. I haven't had a cold glass of water in a long time. I'm grateful when the juice is cold haha. The cockraoches here are big. There always in my bathroom in the middle of the night and the morning, but I'm too lazy to kill them. They are huge though. I'll get a pic of one sometime. So here they have this fruit called, tomato de arbol. They peel it and blend it up with water and it makes the best drink ever! I love it! The fruit itself is like a tree tomatoe. It's cool. I went on divisions this last Friday to an area pretty much on the beach. I didn't have my camera but I will get pics of the ocean and all the huge ships that are always in view. It's so cool from a couple of spots. Today I traveled to a really green area and I got some pics that will send in a bit. My soccer skills are improving and I love to play it. So in a lesson a guy begged me to say the closing prayer in English, so I did, but I found out it was about as difficult to say a prayer in English now as it is to say one in Spanish. I felt a little dumb cause I stuttered a little and through Spanish in there without even realizing haha. It is getting better. I'm hoping in another two months that I will be completely lost in the work and not worrying about anything but teaching. That's pretty well what happened this week. I love you guys so much, keep writing me. I can't wait till next monday. Hasta luego.
Two Month Mark: Small crisis, big TV's, and those always "divine" grilled cheese sandwiches!!8/18/2014 Hey everyone, what's going on back home. Life over here isn't changing a whole lot. I still shower out of a bucket. We had a crisis this week? So we have buckets for when we don't have water, right. Well we went a good solid week maybe a little more without a drop in our house and our buckets ran out. SO we went to a different companionship's house to shower for three days. However, we found out we were out of water only after we needed to flush a full toilet and couldn't, so for three days we couldn't do anything about it and our shower situation. It was a crisis. The day after we got water our power went out and we had to shower to candlelight. So showering with a bucket to candlelight. Bet you have never tried that? It came back on about the time I was done showering for a poetic ending to the struggles of our house this week. Also, this week a random kid came up and spit on my pants haha, that was cool. I just kept on walking and used my comps towell to wipe it off. As for the work, we're doing surprisingly well. We have some people that I'm really excited about and sincerely hope just one of them accepts the gospel. They are so close.

Haha I feel like his stories keep getting more funny. I love the candlelight shower. SOOO gross about the lack of water for three days though. I bet their apartment was STINKY. That last picture of him playing soccer definitely makes the area look a little sketchy. :/ Glad he is enjoying the food though. :)
