Hola familia, well this week was a crazy one. We came out feeling like winners but not because we lit up the key indicators; it was a horrible week for that. Throughout the whole week we were fighting quite a bit of rejection. We always just tried to stay happy and keep the faith that good things would happen. Thats actually one of the reasons that i love my comp so much, he and I both have a lot of faith. Day after day, we kept searching for "our miracle," We made it to Saturday thinking next week it would come and the phone rang. The other missionaries said they had a reference for us that was suppose to be good. I got excited but I didn't want to jinx so I kept my cool and called the reference right after. I called and a Man answered me and said the following," Elders, I'm a member of the church and i got married 3 months ago, my wife isnt a member but she has gone to church with me every Sunday for 3 months, she has read parts of the B of M and she wants to get baptized to have an eternal family." I heard that and my excitement level was through the roof, Elder Green and I were going nuts in the apartment and the next we went to visit her and she accepted a baptismal date for the 20th. It reminded me of the scripture in Ether 12:6 you recieve a witness only after the trial of your faith. Along with that, we were able to recieve a few other references and life is starting to look up for us. Some new investigators are coming out of the woodwork and we are hoping to be able to help them out. We have the plain surety that God is going to bless us abundantly for the work we are doing, and we know the question is when? It's a hard sector but we are getting it set up so it yields a lot of fruit. It's a lot like my last sector, and we are hoping for lots of success. This week was a good one. I love you guys and I'll talk to you next week.
