Hola everyone! What's up? This week was a great week for us. We had a ton of lessons and found a ton of people. The Lord put a ton of people in our path this week and we're hoping for some success in the future. Starting this Saturday with Peter. This week we also had a small war with a giant flying bug in our house. I wish you could see the video but it doesn't work unfortunately. It was awesome though.
So I'll tell you guys a little bit about Peter. First off, his name actually isn't Peter. It's Danilo, but everyone in Regocijo knows him as Peter because it's what his parents were going to name him, but then they changed their minds. However the name still stuck haha. He is 21 yrs old and, he is super cool. He reminds me a lot of Mckade Maloy. He's quiet, never does anything wrong, works hard, and is just a super cool guy. He has attended church for two years now, but only now has he felt ready to be baptized. I'm super excited for this Saturday and I'll be sure to include lots of pictures. This week we were also able to find a ton of new people. Right now we have around 10 investigators, 15 less actives and 9 recent converts that we have to visit according to mission policy. We're going to be using the members like crazy so I hope it goes well these coming weeks. If it does, I think we could have a ton of success in December. I mean a ton of success in December. This week was classico here. It's like Independence Day in the states. Barcelona and Emelec played so everyone was watching that. Barcelona won. I'm happy about that. They had a ton of music and some fireworks. A party here in Regocijo is blair music as loud as possible, eat food and sit in a lawn chair talking all night. That's what they did for 3 days haha. During this, we did get hugged by a drunk guy as well. That was cool I guess. . . I could have gone without it haha. Saturday night, there was this huge bug flying around our house, we only had matches and bugspray, so we got resourceful. We made a small homeade flamethrower and took that thing out of mid air. It was awesome haha. I got the whole thing on film so in two years, we can watch it together haha. The President came this week. Our President is awesome. The interviews were all good. I got a huge cookie. Hma Richardson makes the best cookies ever, aside from your chocolate chip cookies of course dad, but they're good, especially when you dont eat them very often. The mangos here are super good. I found that out this week which was super cool. I heard the Packers are doing good and that the Redsox picked up Hanley and Panda bear from the Giants. I'm excited about that. Well this week was pretty awesome. Just remember this, as members of the church often times we think the missionaries have the job to do all the visiting and teaching and finding, but I've learned this. The members of the ward make all the difference in success with mission work and the success of ward. The members need to be like a family. If somebody doesnt attend or if something happens, there is a whole family to visit them and help them. We're struggling right now because there is a lack of support for some of the members and less actives that need it the most. Its improving but it's hurting the ward a little bit. But the ward that is able to become more like a family, is the ward that will find success. Remember that two great commandments. Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart might, mind, and strength. Then love thy brother as thy self. That's what I've got today. I love you guys. Can't wait to here from you next week. See ya later. Hasta luego.
