Hola! What's up guys. This week was not eventful at all. We had to make an emergency trip to Quito because my companion was losing his vision, so that wasn't good. We left at 5 am Friday to get to the terminal in time and traveled six hours to Quito. He had an appointment about 45 minutes after we got there. After that we worked until the day was done with the missionaries in Quito. Then we got up and left Quito at about 8 AM, traveled back, and made it just in time for ward council. It was a rough two days for sure. We did find out he had an inflammed cornea so it's good we went. This week we did get an investigator to commit to baptism which is great. This sector hasnt seen a baptism for awhile. His name is Peter. He's been attending church for two years but has never felt ready to be baptized. So we were having a lesson with him and all three of us just bore our testimonies. It was super poderoso. He finally accepted a baptismal date and it's set in stone. I will die before I lose this one. This guy is cheverisimo. Were super excited about this date. We also hope to work with his family to hopefully bring them into the church as well. This change we also have some less actives set to reactivate so were hoping for a fairly productive change despite all the traveling and emergency changes and everything that's happened. Yesterday we had a training from the area president about our ward councils. We need to improve a few things in our ward, so we're going to be working with that. We have a lot of work to do right now. The other night our ward had a fundraiser party kind of thing where we ate gigantic hamburgers. Bigger than anything at McDonalds and Burger King or wherever. I've actually got pictures of this but i dont know how good. Anyway my comp and I both hammered two. We were dying the rest of the night, but it was so good. Ya well, this week I was just reading in Alma 47 where King Lehonti is on top of the mountain and he comes down a little bit. Remember always to read your scriptures, go to church, and pray. Don't stop those three things for anything. Satan will agree to our terms to get us to come down of our mountain even a little bit, but if we do those three things our foundation will be really strong. That's about all that happened this week so I love you guys. I'll talk to ya next week.
