Buenas Dias familia! como estan! espero que todo bien. Ya entonces this week was an interesting week. With cambios and all that, it was pretty eventful. A lot happned this week including some awesome stories. First story, so remember Hermana America? She is the investigator that's getting baptized this Saturday. Well like I said in the last letter she has absolutley nothing for money. She lives in a tiny, and I mean like smaller than our upstairs living room, house with about 10 people. Well, she showed up to church yesterday in the best clothes she had, still a little under the standard of the members. This week we taught her tithing, and we were really worried about how she would take that. Well at church she came up to me and gave me about 50 cents, and said, "I want to pay my tithing can you help me?" I showed her how to fill out the slip and everything, and she was super excited to hand it to the bishop. It was so cool. She will be getting baptized this Saturday and I'm super excited. I just need to get my pants let out in the waist beforehand because I've gained 15 pounds in three months. The members are starting notice haha. I have a new companion, Elder Edwin Valverde, and I learned a little about him today at KFC. He's Bacansisimo. He's a convert of two years. He's been in my zone the whole time I've been here so I know him. Anyway he told me his story today. Two years ago he was with his family which is all catolico; he said super super catolico also. Well, he said one of his best friends reached out to him and introduced him to the church. She gave him scriputres and all that but he said he didn't read them one time. Then he said she introduced him to the missionaries and he still wasn't very interested. He said he knew their schedule, so when they asked him when he could meet, he told them 11 at night. He said one day he was at a store and they saw him. He was like " Oh chuta what am I going to do? Well right when they arrived he recieved a call from his friend. She told him, if you dont want to meet with the missionaries tell them. If you do, you can meet at a dfifferent friend's house. Well, he chose to meet at a different friend's house for some reason. He still didn't read much or pray, but he met. Well one night, in his words, he said he got a "respuestisimo" which means an answer with a little power ya know! He said he had a dream, and he could see the elders praying for him. His best friend was nudging his shoulder telling him to pray, and he didn't want too and he kept like falling asleep almost in his dream. Still, his friend kept nudging him. Anyway he awoke and prayed and knew it was true. Then a few days later he was at the beach (he doesn't swim much) where some of his friends and he decided to link arms and walk out on this rock. Well one fell and they all fell. He couldn't swim out and he told me, " I prayed and said, Heavenly Father, I can't get out of this myself I need help. Then he said when he opened his eyes again he had drifted toward the rock, but toward this spot where some smaller rocks formed almost like stairs, a pathway, and he was able to walk out of the water on this path of rocks. Crazy right? But there is more. His family is kind of poor and, so the missionary that baptized him was ending his mission at the time. He gave my comp all his shirts and pants and socks and church shoes and shoulder bag. He told him I'll give you these but you have to serve a mission. So from this point on, every Sunday, becasue his parents didn't know, he left his house to go to church in soccer clothes and changed into the clothes he was given at the church. His story is awesome. He's a way good guy. I'm really looking forward to this change. He's just super excited about everything and he said he knows with absolute certainty that it's true. So this week I learned something pretty interesting for me in the Book of Mormon. I was reading about Nephi and Laman and Lemuel. I thought "ya know, Nephi is known for faith, obedience, and standing up to his brothers, " but have you ever thought about how much patience he had. Imagine having two siblings always trying to tie you up and threaten your life while your trying to build a ship after a completely different manner than men. He had as much patience as he had faith. He always forgave them and tried to help them and teach them until the Lord told him to get away from them. It was just interesting to me. A different way to look at Nephi. Ya well, there is a chance is I will be changing houses within my sector this change so I hope so. The one were looking at always has water and is clean. Two things our house right now does not. But ya that's about what happened this week for me. Pretty good week. I'm looking forward to a good transfer. I love you guys. Hasta Luego.

Easton has been out since June, so he's still getting his feet wet. His first month was quite an adjustment but he seems much more adjusted now. I remember Easton telling me in an email about meeting your son. He said he was an awesome missionary and he hoped he got to spend time with him to learn from him. He recognized the name because we had read your son's blog before Easton went out. Actually reading your's and other blogs is what gave us the idea to do the same. It also helped us learn so much about what to expect. Thanks for that!
