Hola familia what's up. Well this week was a crazy one. We worked super hard the whole week, and we almost had a fantastic week, but it kind of fell apart Sunday with attendance. There were a lot of good things about our week though. We found out that our miracle of last week, Narcisia Rosero, works at a hotel with her husband and at this hotel there is a super good costal restaurant. The food is super cheap so we have been happy with that. But with that I also have bad news. I've lost 8 pounds in this sector so thats a little bit of a problem.. . . I'm not eating as well as other sectors in the past. This week we almost had a crisis as well. The owners of our house illegally changed the contract of our house and are expecting the four missionaries to pay more. The mission has been trying to sort it out for some time now. Well this last Friday, the owner comes and knocks on our window and tells us that shes going to lock our house so we cant get in, so the whole rest of the week we were really hoping to be in our house every night. Lucky for us the secrateries resolved it in time so we are good for now. Today was pretty hard as well because I had to say by to Elder Santana from Chile. He's ending his mission but he is the missionary that has probabaly helped me the most in my time here. I met him back in Esmeraldas, and we have been great friends since then but he's going home so I'm a little sad. This week was hard. We worked super hard and we still aren't seeing the success we want to see. There is scripture that has helped me quite a bit in Hebrews 12:3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself,
lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. This week there were a lot of times when it was hot; we were tired; we had been rejected; and it was kind of hard, but I had to think about who I was representing, and it really helped me to keep going, and keep putting one foot in front of the other. That's what we are going to keep doing as well. We know success is coming. We just need to wait a little more and it will be here. This is what I've got this week, I love you guys, talk to ya later.
